Lauren sent me an email correcting some of the bloopers on my page, read them and check them out for yourself.

1.
When Dumbledore looks at the mirror of Erised, the door should be on his right but there is just a wall.
The door is still there. The door is kind of set back in the wall a bit, and when Harry comes in and stands right inside the door, the door is to his right and in front of him there is kind of a half-wall type thing with columns. He walks to his left, turns right and goes down a few stairs and walks up to the mirror. Later, Dumbledore is just standing there and the door and "half-wall," as I called it is behind him.

2.
The troll who wrecks the girls toilets seems to smash the same line of cubicles twice.
There are eight cubicles. The troll knocks over the first four and then the last four.

3.
After Harry removes the invisibility cloak in front of the mirror, it is nowhere to be seen even though it is supposed to be visible when not worn.
He removes it when he first comes in the door, not in front of the mirror. This happens when Ron and Harry come in the room and remove the cloak too.

4.
In the chess game, Hermoine takes her position as the queen side castle on a black square. She should stand on a white square.
There was a mistake with Hermione in the chess game, but that is not the mistake. She takes her position in the corner on a white square, then near the end of the chess game when Ron is talking to her she is on a black square in a corner. Then when Ron is starting his move, she is on a black sqaure in the middle of the first row.

5. At the end Hagrid gives Harry a photo of him and his parents, but he looks about one, at the beginning of the movie he is a tiny baby..
It's the same baby! The child appears bigger in the photo because of the blanket that's wrapped around him and the way James is holding him.

6.
when Harry is on the quidditch pitch and Oliver wood is first teaching him the names of the quidditch balls, when he lets the snitch go Harry watches it fly around but Oliver looks completely the wrong way...
he is looking off to the side while the snitch is actually in front of Harry, That isn't  mistake. I know Sean (Oliver) looks like a dork looking around like that, but he's not supposed to be able to see the snitch. That's why he's the keeper and Harry's the seeker. Harry has a good eye and is able to see the snitch flitting around, but Oliver cannot because the snitch is small and fast, which is explained by Oliver when he is telling Harry about the snitch. He says, "Just wait, it's wicked fast and damn near impossible
to seek."

7.
When Harry is in the Forbidden Forest, and comes across Voldemort and a dead unicorn, Voldemort drifts toward him.  The camera view switches to behind Voldemort.  On the left side of the screen is the back of someone's head, looking suspiciously like Draco Malfoy.  Draco had earlier run away, very fast.  So who was it?
You do see Draco. You see Fang too. Harry and Draco see Voldemort; Draco screams, and he and Fang start running; Voldemort comes toward Harry, and the camera switches to a screenshot of Harry and in the background you see Fang run behind Harry and that big tree with all those roots; you then see Draco run by, and if you listen carefully, you hear Draco screaming too.

8.
When Harry is standing on his broom trying to catch the snitch, look at his pants. It is the same ones he was wearing at the end. I don't think your suppose to wear uniforms as casual clothing.

The pants at the Quidditch game are white or light khaki corduroys (or however that's spelled), the pants near the end are light khaki pants, not corduroys.

9.
I found out that when Hermione is looking in the binoculars, the girl behind her looks like she is giving her bunny ears! And she is! Watch it in slow-mo. :)
The girl is pointing at Harry and talking to her friend. Though it does look like bunny ears. LoL!

10.
Harry's eyes are blue but they're supposed to
be green.

They don't have to be green. I don't think there has ever been a book-based movie that is EXACTLY like the book. And as rumors go, the importance of the eye color has something to do with the fact that his eye color is the same as his mother's, and the actress who plays Harry's mom has blue eyes. That's all that matters.

11.
In the chess scene when ron falls off the horse he hits the ground and then a large piece of stone hits him really hard in the face by his eye.
That isn't a mistake. I think it would've been a mistake if something HADN'T hit him.

12.
In the great hall in the beginning when nearly headless nick comes hermione says "nearly headless how could u be nearly headless?", harry rolls his eyes!!
That would be an appropriate reaction for Harry. Harry and Ron don't like Hermione at this point. Remember the looks Ron and Harry gave each other on the train about Hermione? It's the same thing right then.

13.
When harry meets voldemort in the forest malfoy runs away early then when the camera switches back to harry (a little while later) u still see him running.
That's not a mistake, it's clever, and actually a bit funny. They did that on purpose.

"
Movie differs from Book" section

General: All book-based movies are different from the books they are based on. As a matter of fact, this movie follows the book more closely than any other I've seen, and it was strongly criticized for that by the movie critics (though I think it would've been stupid for them to change the movie as much as they do in most movies based on books, it would've been horrible). They made certain cuts and changes to the story to make it within a certain time length and to add some more flavor. When J.K. Rowling wrote her book, she was not thinking of screen appeal because it is a book, not a movie. It is the screenplay writers job to make a script with the storyline of a book that makes sense and looks good on screen. They are fine for just general differences between the movie and the book, but they are not bloopers.

1.
in the movie angelina johnson is medium height and white, but in the fourth book we are told that she is a tall black girl

Angelina IS black in the movie. Her skin is a bit lighter than most black people probably because one of the actress's parents is white, or her parents are just light-skinned. Beyonce Knowles from Destiny's Child is black. Her skin is lighter than Kelly's and Michelle's, but she's still black.

2.
In the movie Dudley comes running down the stairs saying, "wake up cousin we are going to the zoo." They never planed on taking Harry to the zoo till they found out Mrs. Figg had a broken leg!! And when they went to the zoo Dudley's friend piers came also! And Lee Jordon who does the commentary was a boy not a girl!
Umm...Lee Jordan is a boy in the movie and the book. He just has longer hair, that's all.

Views and Questions
1.
In the movie, if you turn the volume up really high when the gryffindors are walking up the stairs (the ones that change) to go to their dormitories for the first time, and they are all looking at how the pictures move, you can just hear that Ron says, "Oh look at that one!" and he points to a picture of a girl, and Harry says, "I think she fancies you." Was he supposed to say that??
It's called "ad-libbing." It's not necessarily written in the script, but that doesn't mean they're not supposed to say it. The script probably says something along the lines of "various ad-libs about the moving pictures on the walls." Another possibility is that when the director decided he wanted the pictures to move, he told the actors to ad-lib about the pictures. It would look kind of dumb if they walked by and didn't notice a huge painting curtsying and waving at you.

2.
And didnt they also forget to put in Snape's part of the end of the movie, when they were going through all the obstacles to get to the stone, didnt snape have a bunch of bottles of potion and Hermione had to guess which one would get them through the fire?? I think they skipped that.........
They most likely cut it for some specific reason, i.e. time or problems with the film, etc.

3.
Also, how did Neville's toad Trevor get inside the school in the first place?? in the book, Hagrid found him in the boat, and i can understand that a little bit, but how would a toad manage to get all the way into the school??

In the movie, Hermione asks Harry and Ron is they have seen Trevor. We don't hear anything more about Trevor until Neville is first introduced to the audience when he jumps out in front of Prof. McGonagall while she is talking in the entrance hall. We have to assume that Neville found Trevor on the train, then lost him again. (either that or the frog followed them and hopped onto one of the boats and off of one of the boats onto land and then up the stair into the entrance hall. lol)

I see a couple of my corrections have already been fixed! lol Thanks. haha

By the way, your site is one of the best I've seen so far, and I've seen a
lot! Keep up the good work!
